Couple of month ago I discovered a MeetUp platform where I signed for notifications about the art groups in my area. I was thinking of organizing a small art group myself with the purpose of sharing learning experience as well as keeping the members enthusiastic and open to new art adventures. My vision is still under construction.
Then, a notification came up that there is a starting Digital Art Club group will be held in Budapest. So, I joined the group and visited three of their meetings. After the last meeting one of the organizers came to me asking if I would like to hold another meeting running discussion on digital painting. I agreed.
On the first session we discussed advantages and disadvantages of digital art and touched on the software user interface and some basic tools. Meeting was a success and I was requested to continue the next time.
On the second meeting we dived deep into brushes, their settings, modifications and how to create them on our own. Close to the end of our conversation I made a short demo using same brushes we just created.
Here is the result.
A few weeks later, while at home, diving even deeper into the study mood, I came across an image of a tiger.
I think these creatures are one of the most beautiful animals on the planed. So, I decided to practice a little bit more before my next Digital Art Club meeting.
... And this is what came out as a result.
Start your own art adventure and see where it takes you. And do not forget to have fun!
Have a lovely day!
