I am looking at the art works of other artists either famous and not and see how much I have learn. There are so many styles and approaches and they all give me strength and hope for my future development. I just need to keep pushing.

Yesterday I made a cry out to the "outer space" to see if there is any other life forms that might be reading my posts and to my pleasant surprise I have received one inspirational note. I guess I need to keep up with this blogging and try my best to keep it alive.

Let me share with you some of my latest thoughts and experiences.

We had a large Indian community back there on African continent and since our art work is so specific it mainly touches people who are either followers of eastern culture or at least appreciate or know a little bit about that way of life. We have been doing art professionally for the past eighteen years and when I say professionally I mean there is no additional income that covers our basic necessities. In other words it is not a hobby that we do in our free time or on a weekends. We approach it as a regular job with many overtime working hours.

After four and a half years of absence in Hungary it looked like we are starting our life a new. Building new relationships, reviving any living contacts, researching the market with the hope of maintaining our art direction and overall presence. Putting aside spiritual aspects of art I did some funny digital works that were way out of our main goal and I always felt funny about them. I did not have that feeling that I am actually adding  something to the lives of viewers. That there is no value in them from the spiritual point of view. And it bothered me a lot.

Soon enough I got tired of robots, blood thirsty monsters and half naked ladies with weapons. The list can go on and on. The net is full of it and it is on every corner. Some are well executed and some not... most often the latter.

So, in December last year, equipped with this realization I took advice of many other professional artists and refocused on our spiritual values.

Next thing that I realized was that due to vast variety of projects we were involved in the past it made me some kind of "Jack of all trades". We need to prioritize and make a more streamlined consistent art.

Going through our portfolio brought up a lot of good memories about each and every project but at the same time I felt like I need more personal artistic development. I got very "rusty" in drawing and painting and some artistic muscles are really out of shape.

So, to make story short... I have a lot of thoughts about doing life figure drawings, plain air and still life to start up that old rusty engine of mine. I have some compositions in mind and internally I am visualizing and mentally thumbnail-ing them. I am strongly thinking about photo references, models that I need to find and how can I set up compositions suitable for my paintings.

Another thing spinning my thoughts is our online art presence and building solid fan base that will graciously encourage us and support us to do more valuable art pieces. I am also thinking about practical and executable ways of communication with our viewers and the ways of reciprocation.
